A couple of months ago I was asked by Jasmin Skye Photography if I could provide the flowers for a bridal shoot at the newly refurbished Newhall Estate.
The fun thing about styled shoots is that you’re given full creative reign so I was more than happy to take part.
The brief was light pastel tones with trailing silk ribbons to finish. With ranunculus being in high season I had to incorporate them into the bouquet alongside some muscari, quick sand roses, white double eustoma, hellebores (a firm favourite of mine), green eryngium, white delphiniums, eucalyptus & asparagus ferns.
Being in the midst of wedding season I had actually completely forgot about the shoot so I was delighted to find an email from Ruth at Jasmin Skye Photography sat patiently waiting to be opened in my inbox yesterday.
I couldn’t attend the shoot so flicking through these images was a real joy. Everything from the hair & make up to the style of dress just works so perfectly. I love the wax stamp finish to the wedding stationery!
There were lots of images to choose from so I have tried to keep it to just a few to tell the story of the day.
If you’re getting married at Newhall Estate and have yet to find your florist please give me a shout. It’s a stunning venue with endless floral design options to enhance the space.
